All popes from Saint John Paul II to the present Pope Francis, have encouraged us to use modern tools to communicate the Good News of the Gospel.
Because today we live faster, and many people carrying a "smart phone" or "tablet", rely on these tools to receive information about the opportunities offered in our parish, such as the Rebirth program that is for the whole family.
Experts in modern technologies say that the quickest and most effective way to convey a message today is through a text message. It's instant communication, and most people who receive a text message read it immediately.
Please do not be afraid to send a text message to invite your contacts to Rebirth so that they consider registering for our program. Your message to them could be the most important of their lives, since our Rebirth program contains an invitation to have a personal encounter with the infinite mercy of God, in the person of his Son Jesus the Lord.
Remember, the Lord said: "I will make you fishers of men." And that's what we're trying to do; by using the modern media that God's providence has placed in our hands to bring many souls to Him. But if only a few of us are willing to use these means, it could be that we are stealing a lot of families out there who are in dire need of their chance to be reached by Jesus' salvation.

People will not come to our Rebirth program, but we take a moment to invite them. The very act of inviting, it is an act of mercy. Because you are putting in your time and your energy into it. But mostly because you do it with much love, wishing the people that you are inviting that they truly you have a personal encounter with Jesus. We'll have space and time to share our testimonies. For example, we can share about how many people we invited, what we felt when someone said no; or, what we felt when some one said yes.
